Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) provides marine core samples and associated analytical data for general scientific or educational uses, after 2 years (moratorium period) have passed since collection of core samples. These public core samples are stored at Kochi Institute for Core Sample Research (KOCHI/JAMSTEC, located at Kochi Core Center) and are managed by JAMSTEC core curators.
